American 180 Lexan Drums
Lexan Drum Magazines are available in 165, 220, and 275 round configurations. They differ in their respective heights, and number of layers of ammunition they hold. The 165 Lexan drum is 1-1/4" tall and holds three layers of ammunition. The 220 round Lexan drum is 1-3/8" tall and holds four layers of ammuniation. The 275 round Lexan drum is 1-9/16" tall and holds five layers of ammunition. In order to use the lexan drum you will need to install a Tall Front Sight (furnished free with your first lexan drum order). The original 177 round American 180 metal drum was 1-1/16" tall and held three layers of ammunition. The main advantage of the Lexan drum over the original metal American 180 drum, is the ability to see the number of rounds in the drum.

Note: The recommended number of turns for the winder is - 2 1/2 turns initial plus 1 full turn per layer! Example: a 275 round drum takes 7 1/2 total turns.
